It was good to see the return of Piping Inverness earlier today after its enforced two-year absence due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

It was one of the first jobs I covered after I started at the Inverness Courier in June 2019.

I thought it might make an opportunity to get some shots for my on going project on the Highlands and it was good to see there was a good crowd who wanted to support the event.

Shots of the pipe bands while performing did not quite work as they all turned their backs to the crowd but there was more opportunity to get pics when they were tuning up as this pic shows.
