Christmas Eve

I hang around Price for most of the day until I catch my flight back to Tombstone.

It is by Sea King and is at a much higher altitude.

When I get back I find that wheels have been set in motion and I am booked on a flight tomorrow which will actually get me to Musa Qala.

I feel I am finally getting to where I want to be – subject to confirmation tomorrow.

There was a carol service that night and – because this is what is known as a “dry theatre”with no alcohol – we supped hot Ribena with cinnamon instead of mulled wine.
