Today was Earth Day which aims highlight the threat of climate change to our planet due to our use of fossil fuels.

Earth Day started back in the 1970s so that just shows you that people have been concerned about the issue for many years.

Along with many groups in the UK the local branch of campaign group Extinction Rebellion organised a march and rally through Inverness city centre to highlight the cause.

It was good to catch up with a few folk I had photographed on previous gatherings and it was good to see that even Nessie showed her face.
