One of the pleasant surprises last night was Vanity Fairy who was supporting Electric Six when they performed at the Old Fire Station in Carlisle.

I quite liked this shot which showed the new kit can cope with autofocus in low light.

It was just her and a backing tape but her voice was simply enchanting. I have to admit her performance was an eclectic and a pleasant introduction to what lay ahead.

It was a cracking gig and there will be more to follow from Electric Six.
