
I ventured out west today to catch a couple of the hound racing trails near Kirkland in Cumbria today for the Annual Festival of Hound Racing.
When I first arrived I was advised to venture down the road where the hounds were due to cross the road and when I looked down I could clearly see the oily stain of the trail on the road. I was advised to keep well back as I did not want to distract the hounds.
However, when I took some shots of the hounds crossing the fence they turned out very fuzzy and I reckon I needed to recheck the auto focus settings of my cameras.

Having said that I was quite pleased with the way this shot turned out once I had made the changes and there were a few other pleasing shots. But, as this is along term project, I reckon that any decent shots will only be added to a long term collection of photos. Here are some of the others:
