SCARBOROUGH’S MP and an MEP have promised to continue the fight to restore daily boat trips to Whitby and Bridlington.

Owner Tom Machin said he was limited to a distance of 15 nautical miles from his port of departure before having to turn around and head back towards Scarborough.
Robert Goodwill, the MP for Scarborough and Whitby, and Edward McMillan Scott, a Yorkshire and the Humber MEP, said they would be lobbying for a change in the rules.
