We have an early start and I managed to do my final interview of the trip with the distribution team leader Chris Thomson at the airport.

It was a fairly routine flight and we eventually flew over SE England on our way to Gatwick.

We sailed through baggage reclaim, passport control and customs, in about 20 minutes. Now there is just the prospect of the return rail journey to Scarborough.
